Star Wars 100 Objects Redesign
For this redesign of Star Wars: 100 Objects by Kristin Baver, I reimagined the book through the lens of the Situationist International, drawing inspiration from the visual and conceptual language of their eponymous publication. The Situationists challenged conventional narratives and aesthetics, favouring fragmentation, subversion, and the recontextualisation of familiar imagery—principles I applied to reinterpret the Star Wars universe in a more critical and experimental format.
I reorganised the book's original structure, which arranged artefacts across the expansive Star Wars timeline, into four self-contained booklets. Each booklet focuses on a specific thematic or chronological segment, emphasising autonomy and allowing for more concentrated engagement with the content. This fragmentation reflects the Situationist practice of détournement—disrupting continuity to provoke new interpretations.
